Ashengo Events and Design is a corporate event management company registered in Ethiopia, at Office 408, 4th floor, TK Building, Bole Road, Addis Ababa. We are the data controller for the information described here. Write to eventsteam@ashengoevents.com with any question about this notice.
Two things, and nothing else.
When you use the contact form or request a proposal, we receive your name, organisation, email address, phone number if you give one, and the details of your enquiry — dates, delegate numbers, venue, scope and your brief. You choose what to put in those fields.
If you accept analytics, we record which pages are viewed, the page that referred you, your country, and whether you are on a phone or a computer. This is aggregated. It does not identify you, and we do not build a profile of you or follow you across other websites.
Enquiry details are used to answer you, prepare a proposal and, if you appoint us, deliver the work. Analytics are used to understand which pages are useful and where the site is unclear. We do not sell your information, we do not send marketing you did not ask for, and we do not pass your details to anyone for their own purposes.
This site sets no advertising cookies and no social-media tracking pixels. The full list is below.
You can change your mind at any time. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the stored choice and the banner will ask again.
Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions before forwarding them to our inboxes. Google Workspace carries our email. Our analytics provider processes the usage data described above. Each is bound by contract to process the data only on our instructions, and each may store it outside Ethiopia.
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted after two years. Records of events we delivered are kept for seven years, because contracts, invoices and tax records require it. Analytics are held in aggregate and carry no personal detail to delete.
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or withdraw a consent you gave. Write to eventsteam@ashengoevents.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
